Wang Menghui, Secretary of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee, inspected Chufeng Automobile during a research tour

June 12 – Wang Mengwei, Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Director of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial People's Congress, conducted a research visit to Hubei Xinchufeng Automobile Co., Ltd. He was accompanied by Shao Xinyu, Hubei Provincial People's Government Party Leadership Member and Vice Governor; Qian Yuankun, Secretary of the Suizhou Municipal Party Committee; and Ke Ke, Deputy Secretary of the Suizhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor. Also participating in the visit were Zhu Deli, Vice President of the Beijing Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute; Huang Zhaoqin, Chairman of Hubei Xinchufeng MOTOR VEHICEL Co. Ltd; and Peng Lang, General Manager of the company.

The company has an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles, with a product lineup covering light, medium, and heavy-duty logistics vehicles as well as municipal and sanitation special-purpose vehicles. During the visit, Wang Menghui toured the Xinchufeng Automobile exhibition hall, inspected product displays, and gained a detailed understanding of the technological advancements, production, sales, and application scenarios of the company's new energy intelligent connected commercial vehicles. Standing beside a hydrogen fuel cell long-haul logistics truck, he learned about the Tsinghua Industrial R&D Institute's hydrogen energy industry chain layout, as well as the technical features and advantages of the vehicle's fuel cell system, integrated hydrogen storage system, and distributed drive technology.

New energy and intelligent connected vehicles are one of Hubei Province's five key industries targeted for breakthrough development. Secretary Wang Menghui encouraged Xinchufeng Automobile to intensify R&D efforts, focus on breaking through core technologies, and develop more market-driven new products to achieve even greater success.
