The global shift toward sustainable logistics has accelerated the adoption of electric commercial vehicles, with the small electric truck emerging as a key player in urban and regional delivery systems. A notable example is the Chufeng small electric truck, produced by Hubei Xinchufeng Motor Vehicle Co. Ltd. Established in March 2007 with a registered capital of 1.05 billion yuan, the company spans 618 acres with a construction area of 144,000 square meters. After restructuring in 2022, it became one of the five bases of Guangzhou Haipote Group, backed by Tsinghua Industrial Research Institute and provincial state-owned assets. Xinchufeng specializes in R&D, production, and sales of hydrogen and pure electric commercial vehicles, including a diverse range of logistics and municipal sanitation trucks. With an annual capacity of 50,000 units, the company aims to lead in hydrogen, electric, and smart commercial vehicle technologies.

The Chufeng small electric truck is a popular light commercial vehicle (LCV), offered in left- and right-hand drive configurations. Designed for cargo transport with a 3.5-ton max load capacity and a 1,810 kg payload, it ensures higher profitability thanks to its large cargo box. Powered by Gotion lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, it offers optional capacities of 28 kWh, 41.93 kWh, or 57.6 kWh, a max power of 110 kW, and a range of up to 275 km. Equipped with 185R15LT tires for excellent wet-road traction, it also features reverse radar, a rearview camera, electric windows, remote central locking, and USB ports. With 300 mm ground clearance and compatibility with European charging standards, this small electric truck meets the needs of both fleet operators and entrepreneurs.
