Yang Changbin, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Hubei Communications Investment Group, Conducts Research at Chufeng Automobile

Recently, Yang Changbin, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Hubei Communications Investment Group, led a team to conduct a special research visit at Hubei New Chufeng Automobile Co., Ltd., focusing on hydrogen fuel cell line-haul logistics vehicles. The research aimed to comprehensively understand New Chufeng's latest developments in the new energy commercial vehicle sector, particularly in the R&D and production of hydrogen fuel cell line-haul logistics vehicles. New Chufeng Deputy General Manager Ouyang Guang and Manufacturing Deputy General Manager Wu Zhiyong accompanied the research team throughout the visit.

The research team visited New Chufeng's new energy commercial vehicle production line. Wu Zhiyong provided a detailed introduction to New Chufeng's development history and product matrix, noting that Chufeng Automobile possesses comprehensive commercial vehicle production qualifications, with products covering the full range of new energy light trucks, mini trucks, micro trucks, and sanitation vehicles. The company continues to explore and innovate in the new energy sector, committed to providing customers with more environmentally friendly and efficient commercial vehicle solutions.In the exhibition hall, Wu Zhiyong further elaborated on New Chufeng's strategic planning in the new energy field, with particular emphasis on the H49 hydrogen fuel cell line-haul logistics vehicle. This model, developed under the "full forward development" concept and a flat, integrated value chain co-creation system, features innovative applications including bottom-mounted hydrogen storage system integration, PMI, and carbon fiber composite materials, significantly reducing vehicle weight while enhancing load capacity. Additionally, the H49 incorporates SiC chips, oil-cooled flat-wire motor technology, and integrated thermal management systems, markedly improving energy conversion efficiency and reducing overall energy consumption.

During the research visit, Chairman Yang Changbin personally inspected the H49 cabin and reviewed video materials of the H49 collision tests and high-temperature experiments. The footage demonstrated the vehicle's outstanding performance under extreme conditions, showcasing its exceptional safety features and stability. He also gained detailed understanding of the H49's advantages in energy conversion efficiency, overall energy consumption, and intelligent systems.Yang Changbin remarked that New Chufeng's breakthroughs in hydrogen fuel cell technology have not only reduced energy consumption but also provided drivers with unprecedented immersive interactive experiences and comfortable driving sensations. He spoke highly of the H49's technological innovations and energy efficiency improvements, expressing confidence that this model has the potential to become a mainstay in future line-haul logistics markets.
